The dolphin seems the most obvious. They are very smart. They sometimes approach surfers in the water, and ride the waves with them. Sometimes they even allow somebody to grab the dorsal fin, and they take the person for a ride.
They are also known for rescuing people who are stranded in the ocean. Apparently they know that people need land or boats. They have been known to push a life raft with people on it for miles to a boat. Of course they know where the boats are because they can hear them underwater. This shows a kindly instinct, similar to people when we rescue a wild animal in distress.
It is nice that people often rescue distressed dolphins too.

I have heard tales by people swimming with wild dolphins that were assisted by the dolphins by being brought to the surface or other help provided with no obvious benefit to the dolphin for the action. That could be construed as 'kindness'. They're also known to be interested in interacting with people (which could be construed as friendly but could also be curiosity or mere entertainment for the animal). They're also smart.
Aside from that they've also attacked people, bitten people and fled from the presence of people (not so friendly or kind) and these behaviors can be heightened in captive situations.
