Like the other person said, wear her out as much as possible. It's hard though, because it's not like she can crawl around yet!

We've also found that putting my daughter in her bouncy seat and taking her into the bathroom and running the shower knocks her out. She fights sleep even when she's tired, and that's often the only way to get her to sleep! Good luck!

She needs to be tired-get a bouncy saucer or one of those that hang from a door jamb so she can bounce, jump, explore and wiggle herself tired. When she starts to slow down then put her to bed with soft music and gentle rocking. Most sleep fighters are simply not tired so if you help tire her out she will sleep and so will you. Good Luck!

My daughter did the same thing. I read a book that instructed not to pick up the child, but to comfort them. We put her in her crib and she's scream, so we'd go in and rub her back and comfort her but would NOT pick her up. Then we'd leave once she calmed down. If she started screaming again this time we'd wait 15 seconds before comforting her. The next time 30 secs, etc. That taught her that we were still there but that mom and dad weren't going to pick her up when it was bedtime. Now she sleeps great!

Nothing. You could try more interaction. Wear the baby out with giggling and moving his legs and arms around. It's good for them,
