If a Hurricane or other disaster was coming your way, what would you definately have to take with you? Not including your family, that's a given.

Geez, I would have a list made for just such an occasion. On that list would be my laptop, cell phone, batteries of every sort and size, a battery charger, jugs of water, emergency rations, camping equipment, flares, candy bars, duraflame logs, extra blankets, flashlights, a bottle of whiskey, matches, fishing equipment, my cat -- all of which could be quickly loaded into my car and off we would happily roar. For me such an occasion would present some time off work and an unexpected adventure and I would be thrilled to be a part of it.

Photographs are a must, diaries I worote since I was 7, my cameras (I'd try get a few shots of the hurricane if I could!) my pets (if they're not included in family), and survival essentials. Depending on how much time I'd have I'd obv then go on to pack things like clothes etc.

We have 4 boxes...
1) Important papers
2) all pictures
3) First aid
4) Food and water
Our family has evacuated for hurricanes and wild fires....I know that everything I must have including the family and pet...will fit in the mini van.

My purse, cellphone, and a duffel bag with a change of clothes, photo albums, and my grandma's jewelry box from the 1920's.

a bout with a generator..I could leave and go anywhere if a storm was coming I could use the generator for cooking

Grab my Dog, my backpack which is filled with my cell,dogfood,his fav.toy,water,cig's,my wallet,and soap, make-up and some muchies.
