It's in eastern europe and lots of people there speak romanian... I think the capital is chisinau?

Moldova is a republic in Eastern Europe. Its capital is Chisinau (formerly known as Kishinev). They were before the part of Romania but gained indiependence. Official language is Romanian. People are divided. There is a part of the country - Transdnyestria which has a majority of Russian population and tends to get the indiependance. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe with 2nd lowest gross domestic product per capita. Most of its economy is based on agriculture. And so on....
