This could happen.

I would have to say the Bears have a great chance to make it back to the big bowl. Not only make it back this year but have a great chance at winning. The NFC has closed the gap on the AFC so its no longer "a lot weaker". I don't think there is another team with the amount of depth the bears have so going deep in the playoffs is almost guaranteed. Of course the haters will slam on Grossman who isn't nearly as bad as people are saying and who wasn't that bad last year.

The Chicago bears are going to the super bowl because they have an outstanding defense, but if there going to the super bowl they need Rex Grossmen to play good otherwise so other team will win the NFC.

Bears- 41% Chance
Saints- 40% chance
Sea hawks-19 % chance only if there healthy

Grossman will be fine.

The NFC is weak, and the Bears are on a short list of teams that have a chance. Its difficult to get back to the Super Bowl, but all the pieces are in place.

Maybe, the Bears are a elite team in the NFC and may be the best. The best team does not always make it to the superbowl though. With Rex Grossman at quarterback they will not make it because he is very inconsistent and fumbles A LOT. With the best defense in the NFL (cover2) the have a ligit chance of makeing it to Glendale AR.

wow, 4th straight season of bears fans thinking they will win the super bowl. oh wait, the question was will they make it this time. ah.....no. they made it last year. congrats to them in beating up the worst teams in the league (nfc north). then getting man handled against a good team, (colts). history shows difficulty in losing super bowl teams in returning. i'll stop now as i know i'll get a lot of thumbs down from bears fans.

I think they can do it, regardless of how will Rex preform this year. Last year he didn't preform very well and they still made it. While many teams need their QBs to play well in order for them to win (like the saints, Colts, Bengals..) but the bears will be fine because they have a good overall team, and NFC is weak right now.

They may very well be there. I think it will be them and the Saints battling it out in the AFC championship game. If they play defense like they did in the 2006 season and have a little bit more consistency on offense, then they will definitely be playing the Patriots in the Super Bowl in 2008.

It's a possibility. They're one of the stronger teams in the NFC right now, so they have a decent chance. However, I don't think they'll be able to beat any of the teams that have the potential to make it to the Superbowl in the AFC. The AFC conference is just so much stronger than the NFC these days.

Not gonna happen....grossman cannot be good enough long enough, and he no longer has thomas jones to rely on. cedric benson can be good, but he will not immediately have an impact such as jones'. the D will always be impressive, but hester cannot be the main scoring option.
