Actually we studied water fountain drinking in my chemistry class when i was completing my undergrad degree. Most drinking fountains are fine, unless you are the first to use them during the day. There was an actually case of a girl who would go jogging really early in the morning and stop at the same fountain every day for a drink. She ended up with copper poisoning! To ensure a safe drinking experience, let the water run for about 10 seconds before taking your first sip. This lets the bad junk that settles int he pipes to run out before you drink it and it harms you. Other than that they are perfectly safe! Besides they're much more environmentally friendly than bottled water(which consumes a HUGE amount of oil to create the bottles that many people do not recycle)!

I will if I'm really thirsty, but I don't make a habit of it. I use the water fountain at church sometimes when I need to get up and move around so as to not fall asleep.
My son, on the other hand, gravitates toward water fountains. Every time he sees one he's taking a drink.

No..... I carry around my water in a hump in my back...pack. I usually freeze it overnight & carry it around. You can never be too sure whose trying to mold my thought patterns through the public water supply.

I try to stay away from them but if im dying of thirst than i will. And its really weird when your waiting in line and you watch the person in front of you like plug their face to the faucet thing lol
