Met my boyfriend through Eharmony and after almost 5 months we are already living together and are beyond happy and head over heels in love.
And to think that I almost didn't try the online thing because of the whole stigma placed on it for being a bad place to meet someone...I thank my lucky stars that I did : )

Nope. My bestfriends mother though... she is a trip. Been married 11 times now, and 4 of those husbands were men she met over the Internet. It is no wonder why my friend has commitment issues. Now she is pursueing the 12th man, who lives in Michigan or something and has 5 kids. You would think she would learn her lesson.

I'm neutral on this one, I understand how you can see someone you met over the internet as a friend, and possibly even develop romantic feelings for them, but I don't understand how people fall in love with someone they've never met in person.

We were madly and passionately drawn to each other through the internet! I know I certainly sensed that he was The One, and he sensed the same about me. We really fell in love after we met face-to-face.
Perhaps it's necessary to meet in-person in order to really fall in love, or perhaps it only confirms what you already know from mind-to-mind communication (soul-to-soul?). I don't know -- I only know we've been together for over a year and are very happy.

no thats a bit stupid really.I have good friends and formed good bonds but to fall in luv with some one you have to know them on a personal level not achieved through text alone.
