I have a 1996 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic, execellent looking bike, two tone white & grey, lots of chrome, gangster white walls. My problem is cleaning my spoke wheels, the actual rims are no problem, but the spokes give me nothing but trouble. So I need a solution on what should I use to clean my spokes and bring them back to life.

Chances are if your rims cleaned up nicely and your spokes didn't...the rims are chrome and the spokes are aluminum.
there is really no way to get the spokes as shiny as the rims unless you want to spend countless hours polishing each one with Mothers or Semichrome..best bet is to clean them with a brush and live with the results....there is NO quick way to get aluminum to shine without lots of elbow grease.....ride it and enjoy.....a clean bike sure looks good...but it doesn't make it run any better.

Depends on if they are chrome or aluminum. Mine are chrome and I use windex. But instead of wiping each spoke individually with a rag, I spray the windex on all the spokes and then wipe them with a 6" car wash brush with semi-rigid bristles (gets the bugs off). Then, I wipe of the rims with a chamois, et voila, a shiny, pretty wheel.

When I first got the bike, I used chrome polish. But, really, that's a waste of time and money. Windex is faster, cheaper, and less messy. Nobody will tell the difference.

Depending on if they are chrome or stainless, get a baby food jar, and put either chrome polish or semi-chrome in it. Go to Wal-Mart, and buy some WIDE tennis shoe laces. Submerge the laces in which ever is in the baby food jar. Let soak in. Remove, wrap once around a spoke, work it back and forth in a shoe shine action, working up and down the spoke.

Soap and water to wash. Use a brush to clean in and aroud the spokes. Spoke brushes can be found at many autoparts stores. A tooth brush can also help. I get them for 39 cents at Big Lots.

Spray a little Greased Lightning on it, let it sit for a few minutes. Spray it off with a little water and you'll be amazed. Walmart and Home Depot sell it. About 3 bucks a quart.
