im so shy...i mean i will talk when somone asks me something of course, but im so used to just sitting in my desk not saying a word but i wanna change that because everyone just stares at me like i just fell from the celing or something im not dum and i'll know the answer in my head but i wont say it out loud ..how can i overcome this fear of talking in class?

I'm sort of the same way. It's as though you hate being the center of attention, especially in a classroom situation. A trick I learned a long time ago in a public speaking class is to imagine the audience in their underwear. That makes them seem less formidable. In class, you can pretend the rest of the class is a bunch of dumbells and that you are the authoritative figure. Your teacher will certainly respect you for speaking up, and if the rest of your classmates stare at you like you fell from the ceiling, just stare right back at them, or give them a sh**ty grin.....

girl just let it all flow. your still young and now is the time to just let go and have a bunch of fun. people believe tend to like loud people i know its weird but they have the most friends. look at it this way. these people once your grown will never see you again theres so many cities in the world that you can move around and be brand new where ever you go. Just start talking small like talk about a good show on tv and then really get the convos started by talking to girls about guys and guys about girls. have fun and let go. make sure you start talking this is how i do it. Tell someone you like there shoes people love talking about thereselves i know i do and just go from there
