sky plus has 2 cables per box from dish, because you are recording 2 channels at once. So you have probably only got a quad lnb on the dish.

Get it done by someone privately, who can put an 8 way lnb on, and run cable to new boxes. quite epensive though.

then theres the matter of taking out another subscription, and having to be connected to phone line etc. unless its just going to be freeview in the kids room.

don-t know what sky are on about! you can have as many boxes as you want! maybe its just the number of subscriptions per household thats limited.

and remember if you do this and get multiroom with sky the box has to always be connected to a phone line! you might find the kids getting carried away on sky interactive!!, you will have to set up a pincode.

We have sky all round the house from one box in the loft! Each room has a SkyEye - the only drawback is that you can only watch ONE sky channel at a time. Easiest was to add a Freeview box!

Call Sky and just order the extra boxes and they should take care of the rest. They'll take the old 4-output LNB off the dish and change for a new 8-output one which will allow more boxes to be connected. And if he's anything like the engineer we had, he'll probably just chuck the old one in the plants.

You can get a device that will link the sky to another tv, we've got ours wired through a loft box. It means you can only watch the same channel as the box it's linked to. Why don't you get the kids freeview instead? Less dodgy channels for them to accidentally stumble across.

Better still ask a sky installer next time you see one they are so badly paid they will probably give you free advice

If you get a scart lead long enough yes but you can only watch one of the same channels on the other two.
