I mean as an main meal, not a side item like potato salad. I never thought about it until someone brought it up, or maybe it was on Seinfeld, but salads are kind of food for the ladies, at least in USA culture. What do you think?

Hmmm, like a regular salad as a meal, id say yeah pretty weak. I like salad as a awesome appetizer to a nice t-bone and a baked potato. Why did I answer that? I gotta go get some food..

What Rot - If I see a man eating a salad I think there is someone who is looking after his health.
If I see aman tucking into huge plates of fried food or burgersI think there is someonr who doesn't care about his body.
In the north of england there is a thing that men who eat Quiche aren't real men. In the south where eating habits are generally healthier there is no such taboo.

no. i don't care what a guy eats. i just think its disgusting when i see anyone chowing down on fatty greasy fast food. that is gross. i think nothing different of a man eating a salad, other than wow, maybe he's actually healthy.

I man eating salad means he is conscious of what he eats, right? And how many men are actually conscious of what they eat? Apart from athelites and sportsmen, no-one. So the next time you see a man eating a salad, think "Oh my gosh, he must be one of those strong and muscular football players!"
