Well. I guess if you think about it you cant feel sorry for the actual fallen troops, you feel sorry for those who knew and loved them. You feel sorry that a person had to die to defend our country and yes i said to defend our country. This war even if you haven't studied it enough to notice is to better this country. I hate the fact that our troops have to leave home, and risk or receive injury or death. Support our troops, let them know we appreciate what they are doing. If we (speaking in general) continue to act as we have the troops will keep feeling like we are not supporting them and that is one of the worst things we as American people could ever do.

You have no idea what the world is about do you.
I feel sorry for everyone who's had to die because of other people who don't know how to treat others.
It's no big secret, a few words can tell you if you're doing the right thing or not.
These words are "Be excellent to each-other.".
If only other countries had these words in their vocabulary, our soldiers wouldn't have to die.
But everyone should feel sorry for them.
But I also feel very proud of the sacrifices they have made.
They are the True American or should I say Real American, since you tainted the other word.

You have no friends in the War to protect your butt?
I am a United States Marine. I would like to thank all the Americans who supported my unit while I was in Iraq twice for the clothing, toothpaste, toys to win the hearts of the children, gum, candy and ect.........
What you need to do is to go to a VA hospital and make friends with these brave souls and then ask yourself how can anyone feel sorry for our fallen troops. Ask a mother or a father, brother or sister.
You need to open your eyes to the world

I feel sorry for the people who claim to support the troops, but can't be bothered to learn the facts about them as people, or their mission, and continue to vote for people that tie the funding for soldier pay and equipment to pork projects.

Someone has to protect you. It is not an easy job, and you wrestle with the moral ramifications of it every day. I can feel for anyone that dies, why can't you?
