Any late 60's Pontiac's like the Grand Prix, Bonneville, Catalina's. These cars with the right equipment had more power than their little GTO brother and do not demand near the price.
Late 70's Camaro's and Firebirds were also known to be relatively fast, although not quite as quick as the 60's models.
Studebaker's in the late 50's also had allot of performance for their vintage, not so when compared against their 60's counter-parts however.

69 Impala 427-cousin had one, convertible, 4 speed that was awesome for a big cruiser---pretty rare now.
67 Bonneville with the 428 motor was a great older muscle car---just kind of heavy.
70-72 Grand Prix with the 400 or 455 engine.
or Monte Carlo with the 454
69 Firebird with the OHC 6 cylinder--was more peppy than a V-8 but not really muscle.
Amx or Javelins were good with the big 403 V-8 but hard to get parts for and rare.

In 1966 I purchased a 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA. It had a 335 HP 390 CU IN motor with a 4 BBL carb. and automatic tranny. It was quick enough for me. I would sure like to have it back.

The GTO's that were recently discontinued. Something like 400 H/P in a car that looks like a Grand Dad's car.
