If the zip code was right, you'll probably get it....
Worst case, the seller has it returned to him and he can re-ship it to you.

If the zip code was right, eventually you'll get it. If the zip code matched the wrong city, then, no, you'll probably never see it, and it may or may not be returned to the sender. If you have a postal receipt number, contact the post office in the wrong city and tell them the situation. They may be able to help.

I think mail is sent out according to the Zip Code, they only use the mailing address for actual delivery. The Zip Code would inform them of what city and address the package is supposed to be sent to.

So who knows...

On the other hand, were talking about Government workers so you're probably screwed :)

Since he's shipping international, chances are he's not using the USPS. That's actually good news.

If he can provide you with the shipper number from UPS, DHL or Fed Ex (or whoever he used) then you should be able to contact the shipping company and redirect the package.

Be prepared to pay for this service.

Find out how he shipped it. If it is Fed-Ex, you can call and change the address. If it is the postal service, you should still be able to call the city's postal service and have it forwarded. The postal service may or may not do this.

The only thing you can do is to call the city you gave as your city and talk to the postal service. See what they say.

Unless a miracle happens, sorry to say but you aren't going to see it most likely.

You could try calling the post office in the city you put down and see if they will hold the package for you instead of sending it back! don't know if it will work, but worth a try! Good Luck!
