Any other examples of two songs played as one? I think Led Zeppelin and Journey do, but I can't recall the titles.

Wow, what a great question. What a list we could put together with a little time. A lot of Moody Blues, Elton John, Chicago, The Band, Dead, a Neil Young or two, Paul Simon, Zep, Creedence, Steppenwolf, Poco, Beatles (esp. Sgt. Pepper)...

You'll notice mine are all on the Classic Rock side with a leaning towards softer bands (showing my age ;<). But I'm sure there are a lot of metal heads who could increase our list. Maybe even some Hip-Hop - I'll leave that to the experts in that field.

I wish I had time for a project like this, because it really is a great concept - could even become a syndicated radio special maybe thru Westwood One or ABC. I know a couple of guys who would take it on, and I'll see what their calendars are like. A star for you, bud...

Sirius/The Eye in the Sky by the Alan Parsons Project are often played together. Same with No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature by the Guess Who, Eruption is seen as the extended intro of You Really Got Me by Van Halen, and they're sometimes played together.

There are some more that I can't think of immediately

they do it w/ alot of classic rock, the beatles maxwells hammer/in the end, pink floyd brain damage/breathe, there's a bunch of em. Usually if there is no break between the 2 and/or one of the halves is very short they will combine them.
