Of course you have to pay them. If you don't pay them, you are a thief. If you are a thief, you will continue to steal at every opportunity. If you continue to steal at every opportunity, you will suffer and will cause others to suffer.

You have no time, the time is now -- will you keep your word or are you a detestable scoundrel?

The fact that you've asked this question indicates that you do have a conscience and sense of moral obligation. Although you may be having a tough time, and seem to be looking for excuses, or an easy way you, basically you do realize that right is right and wrong is wrong. Perhaps a gentle reminder and reassurance will help. How we treat others (even huge firms like eBay) alway comes back to us. (Put more simply: Cheaters always get cheated.) The question here is not do you HAVE to pay eBay. No. You don't HAVE TO. The real question, as I see it, is: How do I as a person respect myself, treat the world and in turn expect it to treat me? No preaching. Just words of experience learned the only way possible: the hard way. BEST to you. Try to make your experiences GENTLE. It IS up to you.

If I were Ebay, I would just pass it over to a collection agency if they could not charge your credit card or bank account directly. I would sell the amount for like $10 and let the collection agency do all of the nasty work.

Do they do this? I have no idea. I have never had a problem with not paying my fees to Ebay. I have never heard of anyone trying this either.

first of all, you need to work on spelling and grammar.

THEIR not there. so many people don't know how to type/write.

anyway, yes you do have to pay them, it's in the contract with ebay when you made the account. they have to make money somehow, and that is their fees. THEIR NOT THERE. =)

if everybody had no conscience and no honor like you did, then ebay would not be able to exist, because nobody would pay their debts. you DO have to pay them, and it's not too bad, because everybody has to pay them, whether you sell one item or a thousand. you still have to pay the fees.

eBay is just like a store in your town. You dont pay they will come after you. You will have the collectors on your butt and in time you will have to pay with the fee's from eBay and the collection firms. I would say..PAY THEM!
