I've been playing electric for about 2 years or so, and I want to get back into playing, because my mom made me quit a while ago.

try nirvana's smells like teen spirit. all the nirvana's songs are pretty easy to learn. You should continue with smoke on the water by deep purple and iron man by black sabbath

Try going to ultimate-guitar.com to look for some guitar tabs and chords. I don't know what level you're at, so just search for some of your favorite songs and judge for yourself if theyre too hard. I just learned Hey There Delilah using a tab off that site, along with multiple classic Beatles songs. have fun!

try ultimateguitar.com (there might be a dash separating the two words) but they have basically every tab of every song lol. and they are realllyyy easy to follow. You can search for what ever song you like, too. And it really depends on if you are looking to play chords or just the notes...Bowling for soup os pretty easy w/ chords and pink floyd songs are good with just the notes.

hey there Delilah
i learned how to play that in 5 minutes.

the first part is easy
its just D and then F for 4 counts
but you have to finger pluck
so, i'm not sure if you consider that easy or not

You should start with the classic learner's song:

Smoke on the Water, by Deep Purple.
