When you take Clomid it causes your estrogen levels to rise. When you didn't ovulate and had to take the provera, which is synthetic progesterone, the estrogen level was higher than usual. The progesterone level needs to be higher than the estrogen level for you to bleed. So, basically, you need more provera--probably 10-12 days worth to counter the high estrogen so you will get a withdrawl bleed. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense.
