Can you use a copy of battlefield 2 SF (friends copy) with battlefield 2 without...?

i was just wondering if you can use someone elses copy of an expansion pack (Special Forces) but I have the original cd for the original battlefield 2 game/original key.....but it requires you to use another cd key for the expansion....they wouldnt be able to know....becuase they ask for ur orginal online acounts to play BF
