Well some women report that they have a dip in temps about 6-10 days past ovulation. It happens one morning and then temps rise back up the next day. These dips can be seen in about 10% of non-pregnancy charts, and about 20% of pregnancy charts, so you can have a dip either way, but they are seen more when a woman is pregnant. This means though that 80% of women who are pregnant don't have any dip. I've only had one dip in this timeframe, and it was the one month I was pregnant.

Not according to what I've read. Once you are pregnant, your basal body temperature rises and stays that way.

Your temp rise because that would mean your pregnant!!
