after asking my spouse to quit all contact w/these friends of hers she agreed she would. since that time her phone has been in her hand, left on silent or turned off pretty much 100% of the time. she has told me a couple of times that she has rec no text or calls from anyone. i have so much hope that she is for real but i know that there has got to b a reason for the phone being secured in this fashion. my question is this: do i wait for concrete proof of communication between her & them to do something or should i just tell her that i dont appreciate being treated like im stupid and do something?

If it is female friends or family then YOU have the problem. If it is male friends then confront her again. A good relationship must have trust and communication..

What friends are you talking about? Girl friends? If you are trying to cut her off from her female friends, then you are digging your own hole. What makes you think you have the right to control anybody but yourself? She is a human being, and presumably an adult, she does not need you to tell her who she can talk to or what to wear or how to act. You will find yourself holding a very nice set of divorce papers very soon, and in the end, will have controlled absolutely nothing! Good luck with that!

Check the cell phone bill.Ask to see the phone if you pay for any of the bill. You have a right to look at the phone. I'm married and I never hide my phone from my husband. If she is being so secretive then she is very likely still talking to them and thinks she is super sneaky, but you know in your gut that something is up. Good luck!

you are going to have to learn to trust her...or just play stupid like i do.

she can always erase the call logs, both incoming and outgoing. she can erase all incoming and outgoing texts. no matter what...you can't control her or her friends. and to alienate her is pretty stupid on your part. as long as she isn't doing whatever it is her friends are doing that causes you to dislike them, then don't worry about it.
even if you were to look at her cell phone bill, she can always have them call on a blocked number so their number doesn't show up on the bill.

If she is hideing the phone, turning it off, or putting it on silent there is definitly something going on. If this women loved and respected you this would not be going on.

Why would you tell your wife to quit all contact with her friends? That in itself isn't normal behavior. You may want to seek professional help.
