No. Despite popular belief - mother animals DO NOT smell humans and abandon them! The bunny should be just fine

I saw on Animal Planet that that is just a myth. Chances are that you trying to raise it will be even more harmful to it. Just don't let your dog go near the nest for a long time or the rabbit might get too scared to come back to the nest.

I don't think the mother will abandon it but just keep watching it and don't let the dog get it again.

Your dog must have good self control! A lot of doggies out there would have had wabbit for lunch. Hopefully mother bunny will be glad to have baby back.

If she does, it's just the circle of life.
She may abandon it or may not. It's illegal in Our state of Indiana to care for a wild rabbit. You have to be a licensed professional.
You did the right thing by putting it back.

Probably. And it may cause her to abandon the nest altogether because of the dog's scent.

i don't think so, alot of times you read that mothers take
in other babies who are abandoned and feed them and take
care of them as if it were their own. i would watch and see
how she reacts, if she rejects it you might have to bottle feed
it and raise it until its old enough to leave the nest.

Possibly, because the mother will smell your scent and the dog's scent on the little one. You might just have to wait and see if she comes back around.
