does anyone ACTUALLY like the song Umbrella by Rihanna? I personally think that the tune's okay, but the lyrics are really messed up. it's so unprofessional and unsophisticated. she was obviously just trying desperately to ryhm that some lyrics don't even make sense and are kind of irrevelent. and her rthyming skills are too good anyways. and the ella ella part? annoying
this is only MY OPINION and I'm just curious as to what every thinks, so please don't be immature and start spasing just because we have different opinions. thanks

I don't like it and never have lol,I don't think her message is getting across,and that "ella ella eh",really gets on my nerves and to me the song seemed silly and too overplayed,I do not like the song,but I heard a version by a guy called Scott Simons,he make the lyrics to me more meaningful and stand out.So it's funny because a different spin on it sound really different,before I hadn't given it a chance but this version shows it to be more deeper.

the tune is catchy, but the lyrics are so retarded!! I never really like the song, but the thing that bothers me the most is when people try to sing the "ella ella"part and they don't do it in tune, becuase rihanna is being all weird and stuff. i just don't like the song!

It's annoyingly catchy. I think it's just been too over played and then became annoying. It was in the UK charts for something like 5 weeks, and during the time the weather was really bad. As soon as she was knocked off the number 1 place..Summer came!

But i do agree she has messed up all the lyrics (that song came from no where).
i love her new song though shut up and drive.

if you look at the lyrics it makes sense. it`s not actually talking about standing under an umbrella. it`s a good song but it`s over played.
