She said that there is one person who singed the Declaration of Independence that is connected to all of us in the room and even in our university. That is pretty much all she said. I need help finding out who this person is. I'm not sure if she meant just UWG or all colleges in general.

:) Look at the signers of the Declaration and think about what she said and the above statement. It is all universities by the way. And you teacher sounds like great fun and very creative.
To those of you that just gave the answer, no one learns if you do not make them think. You could have given more hints. Shame on you!

If UWG is the University of West Georgia, all you have to do is to find out who the first signer of the Declaration was and you have a Georgian. The problem is that few know much about him and that he signed so few things that his autograph is one of the most valuable amongst collectors.

I would think that most university students would be connected to Samuel Adams, but hopefully not while in class. (sorry, could not help myself)
