Oh, yes. Wouldn't anyone like perfect life? But of course, there is this varying degree of perfection to all human. Which becomes a complaint, which becomes a nag from someone which becomes evil and so forth and so on.
Life is perfect as it is, don't you agree? You can eat, sleep and defacate. You get all your emotions felt by you, not just the smiley face but the sad face and angry face, too. You can do whatever you want when you want, of course you can, we just subdue that thought too much to allow it to happen.
We have Mother Earth to thank for all the perfect lives we live, don't you think? Now, if life is not so perfect, we'd be in 140 degree weather all the time. We'd be fighting for the air we breath all the time, and we'd be hunting each other for food. Or, if life is not perfect, we'd be living in Venus where its always 700 degrees + all the time. Try that thought. Perfection is how you see it. But what we call "life" only happens in one planet, aren't you glad your in it?
Now with that thought in mind, isn't life perfect?

I suppose it depends on your personal idea of perfection - in my case, it would mean peace of mind and not having to worry about things all the time, so yes, that would be nice.

Having said which, a life in which everything just happens for the benefit of the person concerned would get very boring very quickly as there'd be nothing to think about, consider or have to make decisions about and that is what makes us grow as people.

I forget where I read this, but: 'If perfection could be achieved it wouldn't be worth having.'

LIFE is perfect by itself.
But in answer to your question; I'd prefer a li'l bit of imperfection in life...just to match my not being perfect at all. You see, if life was perfect, I wouldn't have anything to wish and hope for anymore as everything I might be needing would all be there. And since I'd be so contended with life, I might not seek God's help and intervention like I would in all these imperfect times of my life when I'm scared, lost and lonely. How then would I be able to glorify my God?

When those of us with a Christian relationship go to "heaven" then we will enter into a pefect world. There is no killing, wars, pain, disease, poverty, starvation. There will not be anyone hurting other people. A world where we love one another as well as God. Where there is peace and joy and we are surrounded by God's love. Perfection.
Now that I've had my trip, let's come back to this world we are in. Ask yourself this - are you ever going to find yourself in a perfect world here? I would absolutely love it in a perfect world. I am sure that I can fill my time. Would I risk boredom to achieve a perfect world? Ask yourself this - would you like to be free of fear, not worry about finances, have good health, it goes on.
I suspect that we would all like it if life was perfect. Remember - NO HURTING ONE ANOTHER, NO DISEASE, NO POVERTY, NO STARVATION. JUST LOVE AND WELL BEING.

If life was perfect, how could you not like it? It's perfect! It sounds confusing but by definition there's nothing wrong with perfection. You'd have to like it or it wouldn't be perfect.

Then I would probably be begging for a little imperfection. I knew some people who moved from Oregon to Hawaii to get away from the rain. The were on the Western side of the big Island where there was the least amount of rain. It was perfect except they missed the Oregon rain.

Perfection is evil. Chaos is natural. What is perfect in nature? Or in god's creation? If the planets revolved perfectly there would be no seasons. Constant spring here would be constant winter somewhere else. If you were perfect there would be nothing left to learn, no curiosity.

I would like to have lots of good things every now and again but if life was perfect it would be a bit boring knowing only good things would happen, then good things wouldn't be so special.

You need a balance of good and bad things to make the good ones look ....well umm..... good.

definitely not, you would be able to have discussions and opposing opinions, and life would certainly be very boring without any challenges in it - i would like sections of my life to be perfect, but not all of it. I thrive on challenge and having new experiences, wouldnt have them if i was perfect!
