i wouldnt say dumb but they are very useful if you cant get home from somewhere or are in some sort of trouble!!
i would hate not havin 1 . . i take mine everywhere with me :]

I don't have one.
Well, I have one, but I turned it
off because I moved to another
state and don't have many friend
yet. Everyone calls on my home
phone as well, so why pay for
something I hardly use?
I also enjoy having one less bill. :~)

No. If you have three kids and they all have cell phones it's dumb, but if your family has just one it's okay.

It's not dumb if you don't think you need it. I think it's dumb to spend money on things you barely use.
