And let me add, I am not a gay person, but I am disgusted by ANY type of discrimination. Separate but equal, is never equal.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: - We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

Is it discrimination to deny people from getting welfare only because they are rich? Why should the gvmt deny someone of federal benefits based solely on their incomes?

Clearly the best solution is to get the gvmt out of defining what a marriage is. Why do couples need a piece of paper from the state to tell them that they are married? Don't they know that without the paper?

There is no reason why gvmt should regulate a marriage.

You can't really. Just cuz the government would never allow it. Just go to Canada and get married, but be warned, in Canada you have to wait 5 years to get a divorce.

Homosexuality is an aberration. It is not normal behavior. Those who try to get some sort of name attached are trying to legitimize illegitimate behavior. Trying to put the state's blessing on something does not make it right.
