How would concerned citizens against ANY TYPE of discrimination work to overturn some provisions of Gay Marriage Amendments now in force? For example, Kentucky has a gay marriage ban in place and also forbids Civil Unions. How could citizens uphold the ban, while working to alter the amendment to allow Civil Unions?

And let me add, I am not a gay person, but I am disgusted by ANY type of discrimination. Separate but equal, is never equal.
