I ask myself this question every time I watch Mindfreak. My friend once told me that he was on Oprah and he said he doesn't use camera tricks. I always thought that I would have to be there to believe it. Are all his "tricks" fake?

No, Criss Angel isn't a phony. He has said many times and even writes in his book "Mindfreak: Secret Revelations" that some of his demonstrations are illusions, while others are 100% real. It is simply up to his audience to figure out which is which. And I don't understand how he can be "fake" or "phony" or "a seed of the devil". That must be disappointing to him to know that after all he has worked for, people are referring to him as that...

He's got a lot of studio stuff. Most (not all) of the major stunts he performs are probably not as dangerous as impossible as he makes them seem. The other stunts stop being magic, though, like jumping out of a mail truck before it drives off a cliff and explodes.
I watch the show for the smaller tricks he performs. These are ones where no one is in any real danger and it's just fun stuff. Those tricks are what magic has been about.
Point is, his tricks aren't fake, just heavily propped.

All his tricks are illusions. I am not a magician but every time I watch Mind Freak I try to find out how he does it but I can't. I do think he is very talented but at the same time a little creepy, but until he gives away his secrets I guess all we can do is keep getting blown away and wonder how the hell did he do that. Regardless he is one of the top magicians out there.

I'm a magician so I've seen how he does some of his tricks, and yes, it's ALL 100% fake (sorry for any believers reading this), but I've got to admit, a LOT of them even stump me.

Idk.....but this guy's FrEaKy!!!!! Some of his stuff is really weird to watch.....Oi! I get shivers just thinking about it!!! lol But i think most of his stuff is just fake.....but i still think its cool to watch!!!
