E-harmony...I was basically fed up with meeting guys either through being set up or meeting them at bars (always ended up being an as*hole or just psycho, well and then there were some who were both) and though I was reluctant to try a dating site due to the whole stigma that there are only weirdos and losers on them, I decided it was at least worth a shot. The only guy that I was interested in made contact with me, and when we met, it was so surreal and I'd definitely say it was love at first site. Neither of us had done the online thing nor jumped into a relationship so quickly (we told each other that we loved one and another after only a week or so). We both thought that it was crazy that we could feel such a connection in such a short period of time but we have been together for almost 5 months now (and live together) and things couldn't possibly be any better. He is such an amazing person and came into my life at a point where I was about to lose hope in love. He has completely restored my faith in love as well as the fact that there are good guys out there, you just have to have some patience and date a bunch of frogs to meet your prince. I know I may sound crazy for jumping into something so quickly but you only live once and I am happy that I did because now I get to live my life with not only a beautiful daughter but also a man who I love with all of my heart.

My husband and i just celebrated our 5th anniversary. We dated for 4 years before getting married, began dating in high school, but first met in the second grade. and yes, i had a huge crush on him then although i don't know if i would call it love at first sight, i believe love is something you have to work for

He was just an aquaintance that I invited over because he always brought lots of beer with him....then one day he got down and one knee (YES it was CORNY) and said, "Samantha (then pronounced my last name wrong) will you go out with me?"...I giggled and I agreed but only because I was tired of being the only one boyfriendless...4 years, a daughter and one on the way-I think it worked out okay!
