I want to order some British software at work, and I want to make sure that it will work on my PC. Is the software coding the same in Europe as it is in America?

The code doesn't descriminate between nation and languages, but it does against hardware/platform. The only thing you have to look out for is the system requirements like operating system comabilities like XP, Vista, 98, Mac, Pc's, RAM/CPU, ect,

The operating systems are the same. Differences are in keyboard and power. British keyboards have the Pound symbol and use 220 current. I believe the answer to your question is "yes."

It surely does. I have some on mine. A British friend of mine (physicist) gives me university contacts for freeware. I've learned some spelling/slang/punctuation differences. No problem.
