I want to make the concentrated kind. Color to be dark. I have one that makes white clouds only.

Home made colloidal silver turns out to be ionic silver and that is how people get argyria.

I wouldn't suggest getting one at all. If you get too much silver in any dose, it IS toxic.10-20 ppm should be the top level that a normal person should take unless a doctor says otherwise (since they will typically watch your levels closely if he tells you to take a higher dose).
If you make your own machine that's not perfectly calibrated (which most "home-made" things can't be), you could get a few small chunks of silver that are larger, or concentrations of it in different spots in the same batch.

As far as getting a darker color, that's a really bad idea. If it's pure silver in the water, then the darker it is, the more silver will be in it.
Remember, 32 ppm is the concentration that some hospitals use for a disinfectant (NOT internally).

White clouds should be fine. Usually if you leave the unit in longer, the concentration will be stronger. Also try heating the water. For something like each 10 degrees warmer the water, the time to reach a certain concentration is cut in half.
