We have a problem at our church with run off water out of the down spouts of our gutters going over our "new" paved parking lot. We would like to bury some drainage lines in the lawn that are connected to the gutters.

You will have to extend the length of the downspouts to the depth that you want to bury the lines. (At least 18")

Use elbows and gutter/ pipe couplings (rectangular on one end, 3" round on the other.

Dig trenches and fill 1/3 full with 3/4 + gravel

Lay runs of perforated S & D pipe

Cover with gravel

Top with soil or sod.

You can buy extensions of downspouts or they sell a vinyl "hose" that rolls up automatically when not in use and unrolls and puts out a finer spray when it is raining. Burying a pipe would be expensive by the time you add in labor costs and the stone that needs to be around it.

Add extensions to the bottom of the drain spouts and position them where you want the water to go.

dig a gravel soakaway for each pipe, don't just run it into the lawn.
