I've never heard such nonsense as this "turn the cover inside out" business! What a performance.
Simply spread the duvet cover out on the bed, get hold the the duvet itself and put the sides to the middle (forming a tube) and then just put it in the duvet cover and open it out. Get hold of the corners and give it a shake then do up the poppers or buttons. It only takes seconds.

Make sure the cover is inside out.
Lay the duvet flat on the bed.
Put your arms up through the bottom of the cover and grab each of the top corners. One in your left hand, one in the right.
Now, whilst holding these cover corners, grip the top corners of the duvet and shuffle the cover off your arms and over the top of the duvet.
Do not let go! Stand on the bed and shake the whole thing until the cover slips over the duvet.
Chuck it on the bed and then shuffle the bottom two corners of the duvet into the cover.
Fasten!
You may have slight problems with crappy covers that only have tiny slits in the bottom as they are a little tight.

I turn it mostly inside out and crunch it together, kind of like wadding up your sock before you put it over your foot. Then I fasten the first two corners onto the duvet with those clips to keep the cover in place, grab those two corners, stand on the bed and shake the whole thing to get the cover to un crunch and cover the whole thing. Or you can hold it while a 2nd person pulls the cover down.

Sew ribbon in each corner of the duvet cover and the inside corners of the duvet itself. Turn cover inside out, tie each corner's ribbon together. Pull cover onto duvet right side out. Tying the corners to the cover prevents it from sagging and twisting.

start with your duvet cover inside out.
put your hands inside the top left & right corners.
grab hold of the top corners of your duvet.(you can use clothes pegs to hold the cover onto the duvet)
shake the duvet cover over the duvet.
put the bottom corners into place.
do up the fasteners.
voila - cover on! :o)x

turn it inside out while holding the corners while at the same time grabbing the far corners of the quilt , pairing them together and pulling it down , once you have done this give it a good shake and it will all fall into place and you will have a good nights sleep in knowing how to fit a duvet cover lol x
good luck it takes practice

Turn the duvet cover inside out and attach the corners with clips... then reach through the hole and pull the inside corners out.. So, the duvet is not inside - in and not inside out.. Button up and you are done !

Inside out, line up up with two corners, turn it inside and shake it down. The quickest way is to let someone else do it-
