I think most restaurants are closed on the 24th. Mostly they have Duck at the restaurants around Christmas, oh and Christmas Beer! Bof & Ost has good food. There are some English pubs on Stroget street that probably have some traditional English Christmas food.

You'll be in Copenhagen, why don't you do a Danish Christmas dinner instead? They celebrate it on the 24th.

The new foreign experience would be good for you.

Couldn't you be adventurous and sample the local fayre? The "traditional" English Christmas dinner is a con. Turkeys are not native to these shores. A traditional English Christmas dinner would more likely be beef, lamb, goose, duck, whatever was available locally.
