A choke and puke incident? How'd the other kids do with that? How about you? Happened to me today. I did real well and fortunately so did the three other girls. AND the two year old, too.

Ewww, yes- my brother used to pull the old choke-n-puke at least once a week on average when we were kids. To this day I have a slight phobia of vomit. I remember once we were out at a restaurant and he choked on a burnt piece of crust on his grilled cheese sandwich, and without further ado, barfed on the table. I was SOOOO grossed out (not to mention embarrassed because I was about 12), and I couldn't go back to that restaurant for like a year. To this day, I can't sit in that particular section. As the "other kid" in the situation each time, I can tell you that I never did the old chain-reaction puke (ironically, I have a very strong stomach and literally NO gag reflex-I can't even really throw up when I want to, like if I'm drunk or have food poisoning), but it definitely did some considerable psychological damage. I recently got over it, though, when I acquired a bulldog who tended to eat too fast and throw up once a week on average when I first got him. Having to clean up all that dog puke (not to mention having to see him DO it) kind of got me over my fear, which is good for when I have kids, I guess...

The others looked at her with both concern and disgust when it was happening, since they really didn't understand what was happening... I handled it well, it was quickly over with. Freaking out wouldn't really help in that kind of situation so just remember to remain calm and the steps to take.

ha ha eww...once my 1 year old was gumming a piece of pizza, choked and spit it on the floor. Without thinking, my 6 year old hopped off his chair, picked it up and ate it!!! He was mortified! we laughed our butts off.
