The Moon differs from most satellites of other planets in that its orbit is close to the plane of the ecliptic (which is the plane of the Earth's orbit around the Sun), and not to the Earth's equatorial plane. The lunar orbit plane is inclined to the ecliptic by 5.1°.

The moon orbits the Earth inclined to our equatorial plane between 18 and 28 degrees. And its inclined to the ecliptic (the path the sun makes in our sky) by about 5 degrees.
So its not on the same plane as our equator or the sun's motion in our sky, its angled a bit to both.

The moon's orbit around the Earth is almost circular, but not quite. So it is slightly eliptical. The moon's orbit along with the Earth around the Sun is just plain eliptical. So the answer is: Not quite either one, but over the course of time the orbit is more solar.

The moon has an ecliptic inclination of about 5.1 degrees, so it's closest to the solar orbit plane. It's inclination relative to the equator changes over an 18 year cycle because it's line of nodes on the ecliptic plane precesses.

No, I don't think its either of that. Its almost circular with an eccentricity of 0.05.
Its about 5 degrees inclined away from the solar plane which is why solar eclipses are still possible but they do not occur at every full and new moon day.

Neither, It's close to orbiting us in the equitorial plane but the orbit is skewed off of that by about 5 degrees.

Neither.

It's about 5 degrees off from our equator, and our equator is offset from our orbital plain by about 23.5 degrees.
