Personally, I think this cements her status as the Queen of Mean. What a hateful person.

I think it is her money (that she herself earned) and she can do with it as she wishes to. And if that includes leaving money to care for a dog she loved, then so be it. It is no one else's business what she does with it.

She did this and also said "And not a penny to my grandchildren otherwise." if they chose not to visit her dead son's (their father) grave once a year. This tells me that she did not think highly of her family or probably people in general, so I don't find it odd at all that her dog inherits the money.

EDIT: V GEEGEE I absolutely agree with you.

The dog can't spend it and can't will it to the next litter. So all she did was insure it had a (more than) happy life for the rest of its years. People will eventually get the money whether it's lawyers or caretakers.

It just shows that riches can warp a person's common sense. She lost touch with reality a long time ago. She's gone; let the rest of us move on.

I don't know exactly who she was and what she did so bad, but when i heard on the news, with her mean face showing that she'd left 12 million to her pooch called oh what was it, something like naughty, meany, something like that, i laughed.
She wrote 2 grandkids out of the will and left a couple million to her son BUT he has to use it to take care of the dog.
But wouldn't the 12 mil she left for the dog take care of it lol.

It's sad her life was about a dog. I love dogs, but that is just crazy.

Too bad she wasn't a happier person, a mean person cannot be happy, even with billions.

Perhaps she left all that money to her dog because the dog was the only one who loved her unconditionally. She did say that others left out of her will knew perfectly well why. If she really is the "queen of mean" she would have let us all know why. Personally, I'll take the dog over it all.

Wow, such a bunch of whiners! It was her money. She could do what she wanted with it.
The problem here is that some people think they should dictate what a wealthy person should do with their money.

Who's stopping you from making millions yourself and feeding these people?

Her money and her right to do what she wants. You dont mention the bulk of her estate went to a charitable foundation.

yeah well, when she was alive her money wasn't feeding any poor people either, so nothing has changed. Many people need to get off their own duffs and better themselves and not look for handouts.
