P.S. I'm curious as to how CHOOSING to pick up a bottle and pour it down your throat is a "disease"????

Alcoholisim is a very serious and often TERMINAL disease ... and if you or anyone you know is 'just a drunk' and you are 'scared of a hangover' then alcoholism is something you MUST consider seriously and 'seek help' before you are 'a down and out drunk, dead in the gutter.'

An alcoholic is somebody that is addicted to alcohol; typically drinking to "escape" or "help" negative psychological effects (depression, anger, etc.). A casual drinker drinks for the hell of it; an alcoholic drinks because they feel they "need" it.
Hangovers have nothing to do with it.

I've only had one hangover in my life. I can drink as much as i want and not feel bad in the morning, i think it might be my superpower.

I don't think there is much difference. They both have a problem.The alcoholics are at least trying by going to those meetings...the drunk
just wakes up enough to get into the next round of booze..trying not to think of anything...both pitiful...thank you

You know I have met people that wake up the night after being drunk the night before and keep up doing it. and its not a funny thing its just a waste of life that is what it really is. I think they are scared of living life sober that's what i think.
