Yea, being late is pretty normal, especially when you're younger. A lot of things can cause you to be late - stress, anxiety, starting a diet, and doing more exercise or being more physically active than usual. I would not worry about it, and just let it come when it comes.

But if it is getting closer to 2 or 3 weeks and it's still not there, I'd probably visit a doctor or clinic to make sure everything is ok.

Yes it is perfectly normal due to your age, your hormones are trying to find a balance and now they´re like crazy, so you might have irregularities in your periods till you´re 18, if this still happens by the time you´re 18 you can go to a gyn and he will give you bc pills, to regulate your period.
Your period can also be delayed due to stress, changes in weight; gain or lose, exercising and many factors that change the balance of your hormones and make your period delay. It is very normal don´t worry!

Good luck! ♥

When you are young it is very normal to have an irregular period. I would completely skip some or have an extra one, bleed for 3 days or sometimes 9 days. As long as you dont have A LOT of bleeding, colorful discharge, a foul smell or excessive pain you are probably fine (especially if you are not sexually active!)
If irregular periods become a problem, your doctor can prescribe you birth control pills to regulate them.

Definitely. A lot of things can alter your period. For example, stress, weight gain/loss, change in diet, etc... Plus, you're young, so you will be irregular for a while. Some women (like myself) never have really normal periods. Mine are always a little off and my Dr. says that's natural.

You have nothing to worry about!!!

yes... it's normal... for some people not having a regular cycle is also is normal as long as you know you are healthy (but you should get checked out later on to make sure or if you are worried or have other symptoms), but sometimes if it's just one month you are late it could be your age, it could be stress, it could be anything... but pregnancy is not the only thing that causes late periods.... our bodies are not always exact! good luck!

Periods can be very wacky...I'm personally very regular, but I once had a friend who wouldn't have hers for months and she was never pregnant, the doctor's had her go on the pill to regulate her period...not that thats what I'm saying to do, but I just wanted to let you know it's completely normal to be even a week off here and there:)

It could be because you're stressed out about something. School, sports, family? Try to relax and work the things out, if thats the case. If it doesn't start withing a week, go to the doctor.

yes, it can be normal to be irregular until your body matures some more...don't worry about it.Also, if you are very active in sports or exercise, that can make you late too!
