I had the same problem as a kid...my parents worried about all the things that go on at sleepovers, and they were afraid that one of my friends would have a gun/drugs/sexually abusive older brother in the house and something would go horribly wrong. As a result, I actually never went to a sleepover. As for having one of my own, my mom just had hated them as a young girl, so she just assumed I wouldn't like them either. Whenever I'd bring it up, she'd just say, "Oh, those are no fun, you don't want to have one of those..."

Anyway, the best way I can think of to convince your parents that you won't be up to any funny business during a sleepover is to invite all your friends over to your house to do homework or something one afternoon, and then just have your parents meet each one and see what nice kids they are. If they're good judges of character, they'll realize your friends aren't in to any of that stuff. Also, encourage them to come into your room whenever they want, no matter who's over. That will show them you have nothing to hide. Good luck!

Start off small.
With just 1 or 2 friends for the first one.
Then that will build your parents trust up, if they know that nothing will go wrong.
The after one or two sleepovers, you could always go up to 3 or 4 people round.
If you dont make much noise, wreck the house, or leave a mess, then i dont see why you cant have them.
Just make sure you only invite people you trust and know well, as they will be able to understand and dont mess around.
Have fun!

First ask for only one or two friends over and see if they let you. If they do make sure not to mess it up. Once they see that you can handle yourselves maturely then ask for more kids.
