At the higher level, much depends on what you're going to study and why.

The teacher's college at Columbia is easily among the best education programs in the world. For music, Boston or U Wisc. on your list. Art and art studies? NYU. Poli Sci? GWU Astrophysics? not on your list, nor is engineering (good but not best)... Very solid liberal arts? Brown

So, what do you want to study? That's how you further define which is best for you.

Then you have to look at what environment you do best in. With a list like this (less UH), I hope you like the bustling city environment. ☺
