can I relist this item? do I have to pay the fees again?
help please!

right immediately when she placed the 'buy it now' he realized it wasn't the edition he wanted and he emailed me telling me that. He hasn't paid for it yet neither I have shipped the book.

He is responsible for buying it, report the item as unpaid.

You will have to pay fees again.
Best place to sell that is part of eBay is www.half.com.
If you go onto eBay, on the left side is a column and look a little lower and you will see half.com.
If the edition is different and you can not find the one you have you may list it but you must put what edition you have.
Another way to do it is to write to eBay and they may help you place your book on half.com.

If you listed the item by ISBN number, then it is his fault he bought the wrong item. ISBN numbers change by edition/printing.
If he hasn't paid, file the complaint with ebay. If he wants you to refund him, that's your decision. If you relist, yes, you'll have to pay fees again. If you clearly stated "no returns or exchanges" on your original listing, you don't have to return it if you don't want to.

he should keep it he bought it from you so it's his whether it was the one he wanted or not
