The brain iteself is the same. The differences obsevered in thought patterns are related to chemical stimuli. Men and women have different chemicals which excite or dampen certain paths of brain function. If a man were placed on medication to mimic female body chemistry, the brain would act as a womans.

the cerebrum is larger in women.

(Women are also believed to have an area that causes them to prefer odd shoes but it has yet to be found.)

men are more analytical/logical/ rational and less emotional =left brained dominant
women are less analytical/logical/ and irrational and more emotional =right brained dominant.
