I've always wondered about that too! I looked up some info about it. From what I've read, it has to do with Old English words. It's kind of confusing. You can read about it on the site below. Maybe it will make sense to you. Or maybe it WON'T make sense to you! :) I think we should start saying "willn't" instead. lol

sounds like it should be the contraction for 'would not' instead.
