Hatchlings are what they call baby alligators and a group of baby alligators are called a pod.

When they are just hatched, they are known as "Hatchlings". There really isn't a name for baby alligators other than that, or "baby alligator.

i think it would be called a hatchling i have done some research on it and that is what they called it or baby gator
