Hi,
I'm thinking about your other questions too when I answer this and you're consumed with something at the moment aren't you? Something is really bothering you. You're restless, confused, uncertain and you don't know what to do for the best. The grass at times seems greener on the other side and then when you cross over the hedge, the other side doesn't seem so green and there's security in retracing your steps. Is this happenning in your life as well as while you're on this site? I hope if you need someone to talk to, you will keep coming back to us. - You will find me as you know in other sections too because I flit about here there and everywhere. Now your question: If you enjoy sports and know a lot about sports then take a visit to that section and share your knowledge and maybe earn that badge? If you are really yearning for that badge and it's important to you and this is a prime motivation then yes, experiment and find a way to achieve it. In the meantime, you earn our respect through your questions and your answers and our appreciation through sharing time with us on this site,

Hi, Sometimes I have a Top Contributor badge and sometimes it disappears. Then it appears again which it did yesterday. Once it was for three sections, now only one. I'm not sure how they're allocated. I never really focus on any particular category: just cover my interests and questions that make me think or where I feel I can help people. The badge doesn't really make a difference. Oh, and I didn't know they've taken away the badge from Polls and Surveys, that doesn't sound fair to me. Why shouldn't this section have a badge? Surely they all do? Isn't this a case of discrimination!! just joking Polly

If you truly believe the badge is importa nt to you or you need a break from P&S then you should. I hope you would not but that is just me and the badge is not important to me.

are you sure you want that badge?i answered your other question,the one that you asked about the category"Yahoo answers"and got a violation notice for my answer!!
so i think that yahoo is really trying to get rid of us!!
i do not want that badge!or any badge!!!

Careful. Other categories are where the truly humorless are. If you should wade into Politic & Government or R&S, pack both your cup and your shin guards.

I have been considering boating or motorcycles. Boating has no sense of humor, so that's my first choice.
