Cruising public bathrooms is pretty low life, no matter what your sexual preference. Though I would guess that looking for hetero sex in public bathrooms might get a stronger reaction, I think that Craig or anyone else aught to suffer the same fate.
I mean doesn't this guy know any gay bars in town? Or has he been tossed out of them for being too much of a sleaze.
I could care less about what anyone does in private, but being sexually harassed in public bathrooms goes way over the line.

I don't think the bathroom stall is the issue. The issue is that it's just more Republican hypocrisy heaped up on a mountain of GOP hypocrisy already. It seems pretty obvious the guy is still in the closet and keeps voting against gay rights to marry and have the same rights as heteros. The guy has some serious self loathing issues going on.

No, and nobody has said or implied that. It's wrong, it's illegal, and it shouldn't be tolerated if done by a public official. We think public officials who commit crimes should resign. That's because we have standards.
If a Republican drove drunk, killed his girlfriend in and accident and left the scene of the crime, he would never get re-elected; we'd have demanded an immediate resignation.
If a Republican was a KKKer, he would never get nominated, let alone elected.
If Republican had a lover who ran a prostitution ring out of his house, he would be strongly persuaded to resign.
And if a Republican took an underage Congressional page overseas so to legally have sex with them, he'd have been booted from the party immediately.

Why not? Bill Clinton thought it was OK to have sex in an office in my house. As a US citizen I am at least part owner in the White House. Democrats thought it was OK. AND they thought it was OK to lie about it in OFFICIAL statements AND to the PUBLIC on TV
You mean if I tap my foot in a bathroom stall I'm soliciting? Wow I'm sure glad I found out about that. I got a ticket for fondling a breast in a night club once. Cost me $400 dollars. You have to watch out for things like that. Especially if you are a Republican. Now if you are a Democrat do what ever you want--no one cares.

Yes. In this country, laws for Republicans and George Michael end at the entrance to the men's room. Inside, no morals apply. Which is why Craig's campaign slogan is: "What happens in men's stall, stays in men's stall."
End Iraq now.

Gay or otherwise--No one should think sex in a public area is legal. Craig should have known better and used better judgment.

Gender segregated bathrooms promote homosexual activities. This is the best argument for unisex restrooms where homosexuality will be highly discouraged. The GOP would probably have a hissie if this were ever to happen. .

Yes, because it was a sting operation in Minneapolis. Who could have a worse job than that police officer running the sting op from the stall??

Hey what one does behind a closed stall door is their own business...
Pestering strangers to join you is a bit too far
