baggy pants are dangerous in a hurricane(they act like a wind sail), so i think our politicians are doing the best thing for the safety of our residents.

you think they're putting off ALL the stuff they're STILL doing for katrina just for baggy pants? no! some people just dont like seeing people's exposed butt-cracks. i think its a great idea to ban them. and for those "gangstas" who wear those baggy pants: GET A LIFE. and a belt.

My suggestion is that you buy a map. The towns adopting these local ordinances are closer to Memphis than New Orleans.
