No foam; just tears of laughter.
With all the hoopla this guy made about gays,...and then he goes and pulls such a stupid stunt.
It has less to do with "gayness" than stupidity.
It could just as easily been a hetero situation ~ getting busted for striking a deal with a hooker.
It's just that the cons are taking so many solid hits on all this lately.
They do not - and never did - occupy ANY kind of moral high ground.

I think liberals are accepting Craig for exactly what he is - an unbelievably delusional hypocrite who is a piece of trash. Why should they defend and accept a man who is making ridiculous statements about not being gay, and who tried cloture twice to push through adding discrimination against gays to our Constitution? He's been a poisonous harpy about gays during his entire career, and now it's clear he should have "hypocrite" tattooed on his wrinkled forehead. Leave it to a conservative to try to place some imagined blame on liberals when one of their own is caught with his pants down. Has the experience of the last 6+ years of George Bush left you all with some sort of brain abnormality that lets you all be deliberately obtuse? This isn't about him being gay, it's about him being a HYPOCRITE.

I gladly accept people for who they are. Craig is a hypocrit - bashing gays out of one side of his mouth and being gay with the other.
If he had been accepting of homosexuals publicly, I'd feel differently. It is not his homosexuality I am "foaming at the mouth" about, it is the lies...

Well I think Craig should resign, mostly because his "account" of what occured conflicts with the police report which claims he solicited the undercover cop for gay sex in a public place (a crime). But I also think Jefferson should resign the Senate, and that both Fienstein and Hillary should be investigated now. Fienstein for voting on appropriations her husband benefited from and Hillary for taking the money from the criminal in California on the lam.

Liberals aren't criticizing Craig because he's gay--that's his business.
But--
>he isknown for his anti-gay rhetoric and policies--so he's a lying hypocrite
>HE BROKE THE LAW
>Craig is married--so he is an adulterer who also broke the oath he took BEFOREGOD to be faithful.
Just like Foley, Haggard, Wolfowitz, Vitter, etc. etc. etc.

Oh!, you have not heard the latest news--Craig stated "I'm not gay nor have I ever been gay." Apparently Craig hasn't accepted himself. What's wrong with these people-another scandal another attempted cover-up.

If he wanted to stay in the closet, that's his business. But if you're going after gays with conservative gusto and putting yourself out there as the all-american family man, and you later get busted in an airport engaging in homosexual activity, you bet it's going to be a big deal.
Everybody loves watching a hypocrite get toasted.

libs don't have a problem with gays. we have a problem with you neocon "family value" types that spew hate at others...then get caught in public restrooms with their pants down.
there is a difference between being what you are out in the open, and pretending to be what you aren't
its the hypocrisy, not the sexual orientation that's a problem
is this really that hard to understand, or are you purposefully being dense?

"foaming at the mouth" ??!! who is doing that ?
sounds like you just want an excuse to call people "fascist"
as for Craig - we Liberals don't like his hypocrisy, but I don't think that makes us "fascist".
