He's as guilty as Gerry Studds.

Difference is, the Republicans will clean him from their house. Dems elected the Congressional page raper Studds 6 times.

I really don't care about his innocence or guilt. He was being pushed out by his fellow Republicans only because the Governor of his state is Republican. Let him fight to keep his seat against a Democrat and leave it up to the local voters. He should not be forced out.
What about Vitter? Oh yeah, a Democratic Governor would appoint a successor in his seat. Well then, his 'sin' was not that bad. Hyprocrites!

I'm still trying to work out the logisitics of tapping someone's foot in an adjacent stall, and then reaching under the stall wall and expecting to find anything (unless the undercover cop has a 4 foot youknowwhat...)

My guess is that the prosecutor had said "plead to DOC and all this will be kept hush-hush" - which it was, until.....someone got ahold of it.

Not really. But here's what really eats me: We get poked in the eye when self-haters like Craig get up grandstand, moralize and usually just outright lie about the so-called "evils" of our (his?) "lifestyle" Once he gets caught and reveled to be a fraud, we get it again as though we are all self-hating-bathroom-cruising-toe-tapping perverts who can't control ourselves long enough to go to the john. Imagine if I painted every person with the same brush each time a Kennedy got caught with a hooker. How fair would that be?

Since he initially admitted guilt, I see no reason to believe what he says now. He should get his stories straight (no pun intended) and realize that most Americans don't care if he's gay. We're not thrilled about his judgment and we just don't like the fact that he's been spewing homophobic garbage for the past few decades.

Typical politician's play on words.

He said he wasn't gay. He never said he wasn't bisexual. And as far as I know, no one has ever asked him specifically if he is.

A bisexual could say they aren't gay and still technically be telling the truth. There is a difference between the two.

No.
He is either guilty of the charges he plead to, or guilty of perjury for lying on a sworn plea agreement.

His innocence of what? He pled guilty to disorderly conduct, so we know he is guilty of that.

Let's leave the guy to defend his career, shall we? Or do we believe everything we see on television now.

I'm not sure...does anyone else find it a little creepy that someone can be arrested because someone else THOUGHT they wanted something illegal...no actual crime was committed.
